E50748 heads this 4-car set at Darlington Bank Top Station in 1964, in the north end dock where the Bishop Auckland / Crook trains, and prior to 1962 the Stainmore trains, departed from. Roy Lambeth.

SC50748 heads set 227 through Princes Street Gardens towards Edinburgh Waverley in 1979. The photographer noted this as a two-car set with extra power car on the rear. Malcolm Clements.

Set number: 105375

On July 9th 1981, the 10.58 Dunblane - Edinburgh dmu arrives at Falkirk Grahamston. This is my only picture of a Cravens car in blue/grey livery. 51479 is marshalled in a 3 car set with two Metro-Cammell vehicles, the rear one is SC50748 but I have no record of the centre car. The Cravens car was withdrawn in November 1981 and has already lost its destination blind. It is showing set number 375 which has later been prefixed with 105. It spent all its 22 years in service in Scotland. Gerard Fletcher.
