Cleethorpes - Barton-on-Humber
Lincoln sets, particularly Class 114s, were used on these services. When Lincoln depot lost its passenger allocation in late 1987 Neville Hill sets were used.

One of the Lincoln allocated 2-car class 114 'Derby Heavyweight' DMU sets (54009 closest) synonymous with the area at the time is seen at the branch terminus of Barton-on-Humber on 09/06/84. It will depart as train 2C13 the 13.00 to Cleethorpes after its 7 minute layover from arriving with the 11.56 ex Cleethorpes. Adrian Nicholls.

I understand that the signal box here was closed from 17 September 1988, when the crossing gates were replaced with automatic half-barriers controlled from Ulceby Junction box. Lewis Bevan.
