The one on the right (a BRCW Class 104) has just arrived on the 0756 ex Grantham & will soon form the 0844 to Skegness which I will take to Grantham for another day's Deltic bashing. Behind the footbridge the ex-GC strides confidently across the Midland station on a bowstring viaduct which was removed circa 1979/1980. John Simmonds.
