Firsby station would close in October 1970, the other stations continued to be served by DMU services such as Nottingham / Grantham - Skegness.

In the Passenger Services Eastern Region timetable it was Table 11 (0.3 mb pdf). It noted Firsby station was closed, but the included alterations booklet noted this was not the case, see pages 5, 10 and 11.
