Class 105 54125 is seen passing Saltley on it's way to Norwich, 30.11.1984. This was a regular working in 1984, before being replaced by a Class 31/4 are coaching stock. Andy Cole.
Cravens set 30 (presumably 54125 and 53373) with the 11:54 Harwich Town - Manningtree is seen beside 31 424 as it arrived at Harwich Parkeston Quay (at 12XX) on Monday 18th March 1985. Colin Brooks.
The site of the former Cromer Junction which gave access to Cromer High, the first station in the town which opened in 1877, Cromer High was closed to passengers in 1954 and freight in 1960. Here we see a Norwich allocated Cravens class 105 dmu made up of cars E54125 + E53373, with a Sheringham-Norwich service, which calls at Cromer (Beach) and as the name implies is far more conveniently situated in the town. 22nd August 1985. The "Fakenham Flyer" railtour is seen at its destination on 21 April 1979 formed of two Norwich 2-car class 105 Cravens units, 56132, presumably with 51259, 51277 and 56125. Jeremy Chapter.
The Wymondham & Dereham Rail Action Committee (WyDRAC), the Railway Development Society (RDS) and the newly-formed Fakenham and Dereham Railway Society chartered two 2-car Class 105 DMU sets to operate the 'Fakenham Flyer' on 21/Apr/1979. It ran to Dereham before heading to Fakenham and then operating a shuttle service to Ryburgh, County School, North Elmham and back to Dereham and Fakenham. Seen at Norwich. The lead car was 56132, presumably with 51259, and 51277 + 56125. Note that there is no set number in the cab window - set number 62 appeared later in the day! Robert Chilton.
With the red tail light illuminated, rusty track in the foreground was marking the limit of travel at the single track terminus at the market town of Sudbury on April 26th 1980. A Cravens Class 105 two-car DMU formed of cars E51277 & E56125 was awaiting departure with the 16.69 mile return journey to Colchester, joining the Great Eastern main line en-route at Marks Tey. Sudbury was once on a through route to and from Cambridge, the line was closed West of Sudbury in March 1967. The station in this view has since closed, with a new station being opened in 1991. On 6 September 1980, the Fakenham and Dereham Railway Society GE/GN Joint Freight Lines Railtour ran with a pair Cravens dmu sets. Nearest the camera at March is 56116, then should come 51256, 56125 and 51271. Having visited Wisbech, the tour then ran to Sleaford, Bardney, Shirebrook and Lincoln before returning to March. Bardney station in Lincolnshire was only open for occasional sugar beet traffic by 1980. On 6 September of that year, the Fakenham & Dereham Railway Society ran a railtour which visited the branch. Another railtour in February 1981 was the last passenger train to reach this point where passenger trains had been withdrawn in 1970. Car 51271 is nearest the camera, paired with 56125, behind is 51256 and 56116. Jeremy Chapter.

Ipswich and Cravens Class 105 E51271 + E56125 forming Norwich set no. 49. The train is the 06.58 Leicester to Harwich Parkeston Quay which I'd travelled on from March on 9/9/81. Later in the day this unit was seen forming the 14.50 Ipswich to Stamford service. Some late 70s fashion still in evidence here, even if it is 1981. Gerard Fletcher.

At Norwich on 15/3/86 is Sheringham bound Set 30 on the left (E54125 closest) alongside Set 34, a relatively recent arrival at Norwich depot, but destined to be one of the final seven sets based there.
