Leeds - Pontefract

The Leeds - Castleford service was extended to Pontefract Monkhill on 3 March 1958.

By the September 1962 timetable the service was extended to Pontefract Baghill.

The dedicated Pontefract service seems to have ended by the September 1965 timetable, but the town continued to be served by DMUs on through services such as Leeds - Goole.
