20th July 1981

Gilberdyke station photographed on 20 July 1981 - I think that is the 17.14 Goole-Hull approaching, led by 56066. The 4 tracks here were reduced to 2 during 1989. Lewis Bevan.

Inside a Class 124 DMU

1982

A rare interior photo of a Class 124 TSL vehicle, in latter condition having been reupholstered in BR's "Trojan" moquette. Seen whilst working a Goole to Hull stopping train in 1982. Although we will never know for sure, Trojan moquette was unusual in these vehicles and observational records suggest it could be 59766. Tony Wade.
