A Class 108 DMU at Starbeck on 12/10/1974, seen with a service for Harrogate. The station buildings were demolished in 1978. At the time, the vehicle nearest the camera would have been a Class 142 (later Class 108 DTC(L)). Graeme Phillips Collection.
11th July 1976
A refurbished Met-Camm DMU at York with a Harrogate service on 11 July 1976. The DTCL (which appears to be E56220) has an unusual rain gutter arrangement, new sections added between the doors but the original short sections remain above the doors. The DMBS has had a continuous gutter fitted. George Woods.

This class 101 / 108 / 110 DMU seen in the Harrogate bay at York station on 14/10/1989 has been thrown together with two brake compartments coupled next to each other. The lead vehicle is Class 101 DMBS no. 51463, followed by a Class 108 TBS(L) presumably 59250 and an unknown Class 110 DMS. Graeme Phillips Collection.
