Class 108 DMU at Killingbeck, Leeds

20th July 1961

Two Class 108 Two-Car sets crossing from the Down Fast to the Down Slow at Killingbeck (Leeds) so it can stop at Cross Gates station which only had platforms on the slow lines while working a Leeds to York train, not the best photo I've taken but it shows the layout and signals at Killingbeck box. 20 July 1961. A Class 114 in York station with a Leeds service on 11 July 1976 - hopefully the driver will move the tail lamp before leaving. The oval-buffered DTCL has some dents on the cab corner. George Woods.

Class 105 DMU at Neville Hill

Unknown date

A grey and misty day, don't have a date but presume its winter sometime in the mid-70's maybe. Entering the cutting between Neville Hill and Leeds is a Cravens 2 car DMU working the 14.50 York to Leeds service. Lurking in the background are 47451 and 40105. The KDH Archive.

A Met-Camm formation in the white / blue stripe livery in York station on August 1977. Closest is a 111 four-car. The slide had three numbers noted: E50288 which seems to be closest, 59094 and 50140 which are a 101 TBSL and DMCL, possibly the far set. Stuart Mackay Collection.
