Edinburgh - Rosewell and Hawthornden
This was an Edinburgh suburban service at the nothern end of the Edinburgh to Galashiels via Peebles line. GRC&W Twins (Class 100s) took over the services by the 9 June 1958 timetable. The stations were also served by through trains to Galashiels which had been DMUs since 17 February 1958.
Most services ran to/from Waverley, some were from Corstorphine travelling around the circle line.
The Galashiels via Peebles services ended in February 1962, leaving just the Edinburgh suburban section to Rosewell & Hawthornden, it would close in September 1962.
