Edinburgh Inner Circle
This was an Edinburgh Waverley to Edinburgh Waverley circular service using the Edinburgh Suburban line.
GRC&W Twins (Class 100s) took over the services on Monday 9 June 1958. In the run up to the introduction the Scottish Region placed a series of adverts in local newspapers to build public interest in the diesels.
The stations were also covered by an Outer Circle service that ran from Corstorphine to Rosewell & Hawthornden.
Passenger services on the route ended in September 1962.
