The London Midland Region didn't publish trailer car details until late in 1968. Although not 100% reliable, if it is assumed that the trailers remained with the same power cars, the allocations for 51865 during the unknown period are:

01/09/60 | Transferred to | 30A (Stratford)
3w/e 06/05/61 | Stored | Marylebone
4w/e 01/07/61 | Transfer | 14F (Marylebone)

Then the allocations for 59747 are:

59747 is one of the vehicles in The Quaintonian on 30/5/83, to it's left are 51895 and 59743, to it's right 51877. Seen at Quainton Road. Robert Frise.

Not a brilliant quality shot, but included because it was unusual to see a class 115 set at Paddington. DMBS 51671 is seen at the rear of a 4-car set made up with 59747, 54499 and 51889 and with Princes Risborough on the destination blind, 9/Jun/1991. Robert Chilton.
It was not unusual to see a class 115 driving motor and a class 108 driving trailer made up into a two-car set, but in this case it is interesting to see that a class 108 DTCL has been inserted in the centre of a non-gangwayed class 115 4-car set in place of one of the normal trailers (next to 59747). Seen at Paddington on 9/Jun/1991. Robert Chilton.
A work-weary looking class 115 DMBS no. 51889 leading a 4-car set including a class 108 driving trailer (54499) in place of one of the normal trailers, with 59747 and 51671. The set is seen on 9/Jun/1991 leaving the, for a class 115, relatively unusual location of Paddington with the rear power car making quite a smokey departure. By the end of 1991 the leading power car had been withdrawn from service. Robert Chilton.
